Welcome to our Playgroup

"PWPG, situated in Petts Wood, rooted in the community."

Our playgroup has been providing support and care for children with special needs since 1968, things may have changed a lot over the years but we have never strayed from our original aim of helping all children to reach their potential.

PWPG is a very unique setting, we are the only provision in the London Borough of Bromley that solely caters for children with additional needs from birth to 5.  We are a charity, governed by a committee and run by a leadership team who are supported by a fantastic and dedicated team of volunteers.  These volunteers bring with them a wealth of experiences from all walks of life and share one common goal, they all want to support our children to thrive.  We are incredibly proud of our history, having received "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings in every inspection and being acknowledged by Queen Elizabeth II with an MBE for voluntary service.

We operate in term time only from 9:30am - 12:30pm and care for up to 15 children with varying additional needs each day.  Children can be referred to us by healthcare professionals or by parents/carers themselves.  We do not charge fees and rely on donations to our charity and income from the government Early Years Funding.  If you would like to make a donation to help us to continue our work then please click here.
